Empowering 120 Women Through Vocational Skills and Employment Support

The Organization for the Development, Rehabilitation, and Health (ODRH), supported by generous financial contributions from donors and online fundraising efforts, has initiated a transformative vocational training program designed to empower women, girls, and youth in Afghanistan. This initiative specifically addresses the needs of those facing significant challenges, including women with disabilities and individuals who serve as the primary providers for their families.

Situated in Kabul, the ODRH vocational training center is a symbol of hope and opportunity. The center possesses the capacity to train over 120 participants and offers a diverse range of crafts, including sewing, Sormaduzi (a traditional Afghan weaving technique), Gulduzi (embroidery), and tailoring. This comprehensive educational framework not only equips women with essential vocational skills that can lead to sustainable employment but also fosters a supportive community for collaborative learning and personal growth.
